After 2 hours......... had to go for Main Stand. Not impressed at all be the tickets.ie site but at least I'm in the ground. I'm sure many others won't be as lucky.

Just logged back in and site is back up again. My tickets are there and I was able to print them out.
Wonder how many managed to buy tickets online this morning?

Finally after two hours, but in main stand terrace. Have'nt been there since we beat Bourgoin in 2010(?). Tickets.ie need to sort themselves. By contrast I got Leinster tickets (Leinster family - thankfully not Munsters) immediately via ticketmaster.

Finally got 2 tickets in the Main. Looks like once all the clan stand tickets went the site was loads easier to access. Absolutely rubbish service by Tickets.ie.

After getting to purchase processing at 9.05 it crashed.
Got back in a while ago and the clan was there then it was gone. Got two for stand.
Went back in again to check for sure and the Clan were back on sale. My mate got two for clan AFTER I got my two for main stand. Not good
Letting people buy two straight up was unfair IMO

This whole process is an utter disgrace, No Clan tickets for the loyal season supporters. Just as well I have already bought my ST for next season , cause I would be sorely tempted to tell them to stick it !!!
Who is buying all the tickets,?? There is no way , with the site problems that they were sold this morning. Did Connacht give away some Clan tickets to Pro12/Glasgow etc.?????

I agree. There are 3000 season ticket holders. Everyone can buy two tickets. That's potentially 6000 tickets already gone.
Glasgow get a certain amount also so the game will be sold out very soon.

Don't forget the Glasgow allocation went onsale at the same time through the same site.
In a semi the away team are entitled to 25% of tickets in all sections regardless of who normally is in them.

I agree, letting Season Ticket holders buy 2 was a bad idea.
You should have been limited to 1 per Season Ticket, and be restricted to your normal location.
Ease the restrictions at 3pm today, or something similar.
Anyway, that would have been my idea, I'm sure that would have annoyed people as well.
Unfortunately, when demand outweighs supply, some people aren't going to be happy.
I'm also been hypocritical. I bought two form the Clan, but I'm holding on to the second, to make sure that everyone I stand in the Clan with, gets a ticket. If no one needs it, I'll offer it on here

A complete mess but I expected it. I was on at 9am sharp and think I successfully purchased mine before the site crashed but I've no e-mail confirmation (bad practice by tickets.ie) and only have a broken entry for "Event info: Connacht v Glasgow (21/05/2016 18:30)" listed with no option to print tickets.
It should have been one guaranteed ticket per season ticket holder in their usual stand with perhaps the option to buy one more once that period expired. Everyone always buys their extra ticket in stampedes like this because they think that their friend will get screwed in the rush and want to be sure everyone is covered. Then the dust settles we need to make sure whatever spare tickets we bought go to Connacht regulars in the terraces they normally watch from.

Agreed that this is ridiculous. Plenty of season ticket holders will be watching this match from the Bohermore Terrace while bandwagoners, friends of the lucky ones who got in in time will be in the Clan Stand.
Would agree that it should have been one per ST holder. We're not used to this level of demand, you learn as you go I guess.

Just remember that this is a Pro 12 gig and Connacht are hosting it. so all the terms and conditions were set by the Pro 12 and not Connacht
I am usually first to put the boot into Connacht set up at times but this is/was a Tickets.ie and Pro 12 issue

I am now cross
Just learnt tickets were sold at the dinner on Saturday night and looked at the Connacht Rugby facebook page for postings as I couldnt get to but clan tickets (having been on that side for 14+ years for most matches) but anyway season ticket holder again next year btw
So first there was this post
Posted sixteen hours earlier, that would be 7:45pm (ish) on Sunday night 8th May and one of the replies he received was from a fellow purchaser at circa 9:45pm also on Sunday night!Bought some tickets last night through the season ticket log in - are these valid?
SO guys I am cross, yes cross and heading to the college road end - last time I was there I watched Johnny Wilkinson kick and Wayne Barnes reset the connacht scrum over, and over, and over until we had to make a mistake from sheer exhaustion - nothing to do with our scrummaging in which was excellent (The day Gerry Ryan died)So did I, I'm wondering the same thing!!

Site looks to be back and stable, so you can check if your order went through
for anyone who purchased on Saturday, if you go to my tickets, it's no longer TBC as the opponents, I haven't checked to see if the bar codes have changed, but you might want to download/print new copies , just in case.
